3 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Measure dry ingredients and sift together. Add the following ingredients to above and stir until blended. Do not beat. 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. bananas, diced 1 c. nuts (if desired)

Bake in a greased tube pan for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool on rack 30 minutes before removing from pan.
