SWEET 'N SOUR SAUCE 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 lg. egg, lightly beaten
1/4 c. apricot preserves

In top of double boiler, combine sugar and mustard. Whisk in vinegar, 1/4 cup water and the egg. Over gently boiling water cook the mixture, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Heat through. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
