ALL BUTTER POUND CAKE 
6 eggs
1 lb. butter
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon extract

Cream butter well and add sugar gradually. Beat eggs separately, then add eggs to butter and sugar. Continue to whip. Add salt and baking powder to flour. Sift several times. Add flour to mixture gradually, then beat 3 minutes.

Bake 1 hour 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Use cake tester to make sure it is done. Use angel food cake pan. Bake a couple of days before using it.
