FAMOUS MICHIGAN CHEESE BREAD | |
Melt 1 stick of butter in small frying pan and keep warm enough to stay melted. To 4 oz., more or less, of grated Parmesan cheese, mix in enough paprika until the mixture has a light orange color. Slice a loaf of French bread into 1-inch thick slices. Under the broiler, toast one side of the pieces of bread. Dip the untoasted side of the bread into the melted butter until an even coat soaks in. Then dip this wet side into the cheese until an even coating sticks. Place all the pieces under the broiler (cheese side up) and broil until the cheese gets melty and bubbly. Serve warm. |
