OLD-FASHIONED TEA CAKES 
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. butter
4 c. (heaping) flour
1 level tsp. baking soda dissolved in 2 tbsp. buttermilk
Flavor with nutmeg and vanilla flavoring
Pinch of salt

NOTE: This is exactly as written on a piece of paper inside of Mama's cookbook. I suggest you bake these at 375-400 degrees until lightly browned.
