BROCCOLI AND CHEESE SOUP 
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. med. egg noodles
2 (10 oz. each) boxes chopped frozen broccoli
6 c. milk
1 lb. American cheese, cubed
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute butter and onion; add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil and add egg noodles. Boil 3 more minutes and add broccoli. Boil 4 more minutes and add milk, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir constantly until cheese is melted.
