INCREDIBLE BROCCOLI AND CHEESE
SOUP
 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. chopped frozen broccoli
1 lb. American cheese
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. fine egg noodles
1 tsp. salt
6 c. milk
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Pepper to taste

Heat butter in large pot and saute onions. Add water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil and gradually add noodles and salt. Cook 3 minutes, uncovered and add broccoli, frozen, and garlic powder. Cook 3 more minutes. Stir in milk, cheese (ad slices slowly), and pepper (to taste). Heat until cheese melts. Makes 4 quarts. Freezes well. Reheat slowly.
