CHOCOLATE CHUNK PECAN COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter, at room temperature
2/3 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3 reg. bars Swiss dark chocolate, chopped into chunks
2/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease two cookie sheets. In large electric mixer bowl, beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour and beat until blended. Stir in chocolate chunks and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls of dough on greased sheet. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes.

Makes 22 cookies.
