2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Sift together flour and sugar. Boil butter, water and cocoa. Add to flour mixture carefully. Add eggs and milk and dry ingredients. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

ICING:

6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil butter, milk, and sugar for 1 minute (fast boil); then add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and vanilla and stir to dissolve chips. Cool; ice the cake.
