FESTIVE CLUSTERS 
3/4 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (1 c.) milk chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1 c. candied cherries
1 c. pitted, halved dates
1 c. raisins
1 c. pecans

Sift together sifted flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Combine and melt over hot (not boiling) water the chocolate chips and butter; set aside. Combine brown sugar, egg and vanilla; beat until light. Blend in melted chocolate mixture. Gradually stir in flour mixture alternately with milk. Add cherries, dates, raisins and pecans; stir until well coated. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets immediately. Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
