CHICKEN - A - LA - KING 
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 c. cooked chicken, cut in pieces
1 c. drained peas
1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 med. carrots, sm. chunks or sliced
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 big stem celery, chopped
2 tbsp. chopped pimento
Salt & pepper to taste

Melt butter, blend in flour. Gradually add broth. Cook and stir until thick. Add rest of ingredients; heat to bubbling. Serve on toast or biscuits.
