PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH GREEN BEANS 
3 strips bacon
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 lg. can green beans
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Cut bacon in pieces and fry in skillet until crisp. Drain off fat. Add onions to bacon and brown lightly. Stir in cornstarch, salt and mustard. Drain beans reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Add liquid to skillet and stir well. Blend in brown sugar and vinegar, mix well. Add beans and pour mixture into greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees until thoroughly heated. These can be fixed the day before and then put in oven.
