CHILI CON CARNE 
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 clove crushed garlic
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. chili powder
2 cups canned cooked kidney beans
2 (8 oz. ea.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt

Cook and stir onions, garlic and meat in hot oil until meat loses red color. Stir in undrained beans, tomato sauce and remaining ingredients. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until chili is desired thickness, about 45 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
