CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick of butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 lb. can Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Salt

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time; add flour, salt and chocolate syrup alternately; add vanilla. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan, 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Boil 1 minute and pour over HOT cake. (This is an ugly cake but if you like chocolate, you'll like this. Very rich - a little goes a long way!)
