SAUERKRAUT WITH PORK 
2 lbs. spare ribs
1 qt. sauerkraut
1 lg. onion, quartered
1/4 tsp. caraway seeds
3 qts. cold water

Cover spare ribs with cold water, bring to a boil. Skim, add onion, sauerkraut and caraway seed and simmer uncovered for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
