CABBAGE HOT DISH 
1 med. size head of cabbage
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) tomato soup, undiluted
Pepper if desired

Shred cabbage coarsely. Saute hamburger with the onion, which has been diced. Heat through, but don't brown. Season with salt and pepper. Butter medium- size casserole and add half the cabbage, then hamburger mixture and put the rest of the cabbage on top.

Pour tomato soup over the entire mixture. Cover the casserole and bake at 350 degrees until done. Bonus is a low calorie content.
