MOM'S (LEISHA) NIGHTMARE
CASSEROLE
 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. pasta of choice
leftover hot dogs or sausage links, cut into chunks (cooked)
1 small onion, diced and sautéed (optional)
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans vegetables of choice, drained
2 (10 oz. ea.) can cream of mushroom soup
1-2 cups milk
4 tbsp. soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
grated cheese, for sprinkling

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta and drain.

Put into large mixing bowl. Add meat, sautéed onion, canned vegetables and cream of mushroom soups. Pour in 1 to 2 cups milk (just enough to help mix the ingredients together without being runny). Add soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce to the mixture. Season to taste and mix well.

Pour mixture into a sprayed (non-stick cooking spray) casserole dish. Sprinkle desired amount of cheese evenly on top of casserole and cover.

Place into the oven and bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Take out of oven and uncover the casserole. Let cool for 15 minutes before cutting into.

Serves 6.

Variation: Pasta can be substituted with 4 cups cooked rice.
