MELODY PIE 
4 c. apples, cut fine
1 c. seeded, cooked prunes
Juice & rind of 1 orange
2 tbsp. syrup
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. prune juice
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. sugar

Mix orange juice, prune juice, salt, syrup, flour and sugar together and pour over apples, and prunes. Put all in a pastry and cook 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook 30 minutes more. Just before serving top with whipped cream.
