BEAN SOUP | |
3 qts. water 1 lb. dry navy beans 1 lb. ham, cubed 1 ham bone 2 stalks celery, diced 2 carrots, diced 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce Salt & pepper to taste (hold salt until finished cooking) Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven or soup pot. Cover with lid. Bake in 325 degree oven for 4 to 5 hours. Remove ham bone before serving. |
