CHAD'S OLD FASHIONED POPCORN
BALLS
 
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. butter
4 qt. popped popcorn

Boil together sugar, molasses, corn syrup, and water - stirring constantly until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a hard ball. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Stir thoroughly. Pour evenly over popcorn. Mix well. Form and press quickly into medium size balls using butter on hands. Yields approximately 12. Use care, it is hot to handle at first.
