DIABETIC APPLESAUCE COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sprinkle sweet or sugar substitute
1 egg
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare cookie sheet with pan coating. Sift together: flour, baking soda, spices and salt. Cream butter until soft and fluffy. Beat in sugar substitute gradually. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Add sifted fry ingredients and applesauce alternately, stirring just enough to blend well. Drop by teaspoon on baking sheet and bake until done.
