DIABETIC APPLESAUCE COOKIES 
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. granulated sugar replacement
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. chopped raisins

Cream together butter and sugar replacement. Add applesauce and water, stirring to mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves in sifter. Sift dry ingredients into applesauce mixture; stir to blend. Fold in raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: 30 cookies.
