ZITI CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef (or 1/2 lb. ground beef and 1/2 lb. Italian sausage)
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, cooked according to pkg. directions (liquid reserved)
1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. ziti, cooked and drained
1 c. shredded American cheese
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 well beaten eggs

In large skillet brown meat, onion and garlic; add water to reserved spinach liquid to make 1 cup and add to meat mixture with spaghetti sauce, tomato paste and sauce, pepper and salt. Simmer 10 minutes.

Combine spinach with ziti, cheese, bread crumbs and eggs. Spread in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Top with meat sauce; bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
