DEEP DISH PIZZA 
CRUST:

1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
2 1/4 c. flour
Pizza toppings

SAUCE:

Mix all together: 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 2 tsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. oregano

Mix dry yeast and warm water until dissolved. Add remaining crust ingredients; mix well. Knead (may need to add more water and flour). Place dough in greased bowl. Heat oven to 400 degrees and set on stove covered for 35 minutes. Mix sauce mix while dough is rising. Grease 9"x13" pan with 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil. Spread dough, curling the edges. Add 1/2 of sauce mix (freeze the rest). Top with pizza toppings: hamburger, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, etc. Finish with Mozzarella cheese. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 400 degrees until crust is golden brown.
