TIPSIGS OR BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces
3 tbsp. white corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon
1 box or 2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. nuts, finely chopped

Melt semi sweet chocolate over hot, not boiling water. Add corn syrup and bourbon. Combine crushed wafers, powdered sugar and nuts. Add to chocolate mixture and mix well. Let stand 30 minutes. Form 1" balls and roll in powdered or granulated sugar. Let ripen in covered container at least several days. The longer, the better. Great for the holidays.
