BOSS'S BERRY BREAD 
2 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 (8 oz.) can light beer
1/2 c. melted butter
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. powdered buttermilk (optional)
1 c. blackberries (frozen, fresh, or cooked and drained) or other wild berry
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix first 6 ingredients; fold in berries and brown sugar. Bake in a greased and floured deep iron skillet in a preheated 425 degree oven for 35 minutes. Cook until golden brown on top. Dot with butter, cool, turn on platter.

Wrap with cloth until bread cools; this allows bread to sweat a little. Serve slightly warm. (Also good sliced, buttered, and toasted.)
