2 c. Herman
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients well. You can add applesauce, dates, nuts, apples, raisins, etc. to batter. Spoon into a greased broiler pan, 18x12x1 inch or three 7-inch cake pans.

On top sprinkle with the following mixture: 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. butter

Cut butter into the other ingredients until crumbly looking. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Do not over bake.
