MOM'S RYE BREAD | |
1/4 c. lukewarm water 1 pkg. Fleischmann's dry yeast 1 heaping tbsp. sugar 1 heaping tbsp. salt 3/4 c. rye meal 2 c. potato water White flour Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water, about 3 to 5 minutes. Add sugar, salt, rye meal and potato water. Then add enough white flour to make a stiff dough. Shape into 2 loaves and let rise. Bake 50 minutes at 375 degrees. Dutch Westphal |
