MANDARIN SALAD 
1 lg. head lettuce, washed & torn
10 oz. spinach
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges
1 red onion, thinly sliced & separated
10 slices crisp & crumbly bacon
1 lg. avocado, sliced

DRESSING:

1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 tsp. chopped onion
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. oil

Wash and dry greens. Drain oranges. Combine salad ingredients, saving avocado slices to put on top (1 on each serving). Toss salad. Add dressing 1 hour before serving and toss again.
