FRUIT SALAD | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling mix 1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla tapioca pudding mix 1 (16 oz.) can mandarin oranges 3 sm. or 2 lg. bananas, sliced 2 #2 cans chunk pineapple 6 or 8 maraschino cherries NOTE: For a sweeter salad use 1 can pineapple packed in heavy syrup. Drain fruit. (Save juice.) Cut cherries in halves or quarters. Add to drained fruit and bananas. Set aside. In top of double boiler mix together puddings. Stir in fruit juice (3 cups - if not enough from canned add other orange or pineapple juice). Cook over boiling water, medium heat until clear and thick. Remove from heat. Let stand few minutes. Pour over fruit and fold in. Chill. |
