CRANBERRY MUFFINS WITH CARAMEL
SAUCE
 
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 c. flour
Salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. chopped cranberries
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together and pour into muffin cups or tins. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

SAUCE:

1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to boil. Can keep warm and thickened to serve over muffins.
