1 beaten egg
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix all ingredients together. Put in a greased 9 inch pie plate and bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. After cooled, serve with whipped cream (light cream or hard sauce).
