APPLE FRITTERS 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Crisco
2 eggs, whipped

Mix all together. Slice apples, dip in batter then drop in hot grease. Cook until golden brown. Or chop apples, mix in batter and drop by teaspoon into hot grease.

For Corn Fritters, add 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 cups drained corn, instead of apples and mix in batter. Cool for 5 minutes. Place 10X (confectioners' sugar) in plastic bag, drop fritters in bag to coat.
