1 pkg. (8 oz.) rotini pasta 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1 tsp. chili powder Dash of pepper 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup 1/2 c. water 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) kidney beans 1 1/2 c. grated cheese Cook rotini according to package directions. Saute the ground beef and onion together. Remove any excess fat. Add salt, chili powder, and pepper; mix well. Add soup water, cooked rotini, red kidney beans, and 1/2 of the cheese. Mix well. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes, until cheese melts, or microwave on high 4 to 5 minutes, stir part of the way through cooking time. Add cheese in the last minute of cooking time. |
