DILL PICKLES 
small cucumbers (fresh picked)
1 clove garlic
sprig fresh dill
1/4 tsp. mustard seed
3 1/2 qt. water
1 pt. vinegar
1 1/4 c. pickling salt

Wash fresh picked small cucumbers and pack in sterilized quart jars. Add 1 clove garlic, 1 sprig fresh dill and 1/4 teaspoon mustard seed.

Step 2: Mix 3 1/2 quarts water, 1 pint vinegar and 1 1/4 cups pure salt (pickling). Bring to a boil.

Step 3: Pour hot liquid over cucumbers and seal jars. I use zinc lids and rubber bands.
