MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
3 c. self-rising meal
1/2 c. salad oil
1 lg. onion, grated
1 (no. 2) can cream corn
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. chopped pimento
2 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. jalapeno pepper
1/4 lb. bacon, fried & crumbled
1 tsp. garlic powder

Mix all ingredients and bake in greased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes.
