UNDERNEATH THE SEA SALAD 
3 pkgs. (3 oz.) lime Jello
3 c. hot water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pear juice
1 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
2 c. cottage cheese (may use less)
2 c. mini marshmallows
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. chopped maraschino cherries, drained
2 c. whipped cream

Dissolve Jello in the 3 cups hot water. Add 3 cups more liquid (use the pear juice, pineapple juice and enough water for the 3 cups then cool until syrupy). Fold in the cottage cheese, crushed pineapple and about 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip. Mix and put in a 9x13 pan and let set, then frost with the rest of the Cool Whip.
