OLD FASHIONED CORN BREAD 
1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 c. cream style corn
3/4 tsp. salt (to taste)
1/4 to 1/3 c. bacon drippings
Milk

Mix everything together until well blended. Add enough milk to make mixture pour easily. Place in greased muffin tins (do not use paper liners) or baking pan. Place in preheated 400 degree oven and bake until golden brown, about 20-30 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
