SABROSO ARROZ CON POLLO 
1 chicken fryer, cut up
Salt and pepper
1 c. uncooked long-grain rice
2 c. water or both
Paprika
1/2 pkg. dried onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Season chicken with salt and pepper (I don't use salt - there's plenty in soups). Sprinkle rice in large, greased glass dish (9 x 11). Add water, then chicken, dust with paprika, sprinkle dried onion soup on top, then spread mushroom soup on top.

Bake, uncovered, 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Remove dish, cover with foil, return to oven and bake 1/2 hour longer.

We usually have 5 to 6 people at dinner so we have to enlarge this dish a little and use a larger baking pan. There are lots of chicken and rice recipes but this one is really tasty.
