CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix (without pudding)
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. almond extract

Combine ingredients in a large bowl; stir until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Spread with frosting.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. + 1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. semisweet chocolate morsels

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add chocolate morsels. Stir until smooth. Ice cake immediately.
