VINEGAR PIE #2 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. water
1 (8 inch) pie shell

Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients, egg, vinegar and water and cook in top of double boiler until thickened, stirring. Bake pie crust 3 minutes at 350 degrees. Then pour in filling and bake until crust is brown. Approximately 40-45 minutes.
