CHOW MEIN 
1 lb. lean pork or chicken
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water or chicken broth
1 sm. green pepper
2 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped onion
18 oz. can bean sprouts
2 oz. can mushrooms
2 tbsp. dark molasses
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3-4 c. cooked rice
4 oz. can chow mein noodles

Brown meat cut in 1 inch pieces. Reduce heat and add water and simmer. Then add vegetables and seasonings and simmer 30 minutes. Then thicken with cornstarch.
