CARAMEL PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. corn syrup (white Karo)
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. molasses (cane syrup)
3 eggs well beaten
2 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add syrup and molasses, mix well. Add eggs then add pecans. Pour into uncooked shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and then 250 degrees until well done (about 1 hour in all).
