COCONUT CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines butter yellow cake mix
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/3 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1/4 c. oil
2 c. angel flake coconut, browned

Beat the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, and water for 4 1/2 minutes at medium speed. To brown coconut melt 2 tablespoons butter skillet; add coconut. Stir until golden brown. Put on paper towel to cool. Add coconut and pecans to the first ingredients and mix well. Bake in 3 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 15 minutes in pan. Remove and let cool before icing. Icing - Cream cheese icing.
