2 qts. fresh strawberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cornstarch

Fill baked pie shell with half of the berries (sliced in half). Cook remaining berries with sugar and cornstarch until mixture is thick. Cool. Add mixture to berries in shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
