FRIED PIE CRUST 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flaked coconut
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Combine butter, coconut, flour and brown sugar in a saucepan. Cook on medium heat until a rich brown color, stirring frequently. Pour into pie plate and press out to edges evenly with a fork. Allow to cool before filling.

Makes 1 (9-inch) crust (8 servings).
