VEGETARIAN OAT-PECAN BURGERS 
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. bacon seasoning
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. dried sage
1/4 c. yeast flakes
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. dried sweet basil
4 c. rolled oats
4 c. water
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. canola oil
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Mix all ingredients except rolled oats in a large pan. Stir well. Bring to a slow boil over medium low heat. Stir in rolled oats and immediately remove from heat. Cover and set aside to cool.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape oat mixture into 3-inch patties and place on oiled baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes on each side. Make approximately 20 burgers.

I love this recipe and the children love it too! I make a couple batches sometimes and they keep well in the freezer for later use as burgers or even in recipes such as spaghetti, etc.
