CRAB CAKES 
3 tbsp. butter
1 clove garlic
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Celery seed and parsley, to taste
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can crab meat
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
1 hard cooked egg

Melt butter in saucepan and with clove of garlic. Remove garlic when butter is melted. Blend in flour and add the milk, stirring constantly until it thickens. Add the remainder of ingredients to 1/2 of the sauce, add 1/4 cup bread crumbs and crab meat. Mix well, cover and place in refrigerator until thoroughly chilled. Shape into patties. Dip in bread crumbs, beaten egg and again in bread crumbs. Fry in deep fat. Serve with remaining white sauce.
