PEAR CONSERVE 
4 lbs. sliced pears
1 lb. dates
1 lb. raisins
1 lemon
3 lbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Put fruits through food chopper on processor. Add sugar and cinnamon. Heat to boiling stirring continuously. Simmer at low boil for 30 minutes. Add lemon juice from the 1 lemon. Put in jars. Use as an accompaniment to meats or mix with cream cheese and nuts for a delicious sandwich spread.
