DANISH NUT BREAD 
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. mashed bananas
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. baking soda & 2 tbsp. hot water

Mix ingredients in order. Bake in 350 degree oven in 2 small loaf pans for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

TOPPING:

5 tbsp. half & half or evap. milk (1/3 c.)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. coconut

Mix well. Spread on top of baked bread and put under broiler until lightly browned.
